Kids say the darnest things. Pay attention.

When I was younger, my eldest blurt out some truths I cannot fathom nor understood.

One of it was he confess he was allergic to Dettol. Dettol is a cleaning disinfectant and antiseptic liquid used often in our daily lives.

He was in Primary school when he said that to me. Back then, I wasn’t awakened yet. I was more of in a drowsy state. Overwhelmed by many stuff. A mirror of the world, more than my own truths.

Perhaps awake but not bold enough to act on it.

I told him, that was bullshit. Because I’ve never seen any reaction he had to it. But many decades later as I became a caregiver to my late mom, I noticed how this liquid actually “eats” the skin. It was that corrosive. And later on, I noticed my surroundings of caregivers admitted the same. (these were from my experiences, may not be true for you).

For Empaths, and truly highly sensitives of this world, please pay attention to words expressed, especially from the young ones. There may be some truth to it.

As i grew older and wiser in age, I was beginning to understand more about empaths.

We can be exceptionally sensitive to anything and react weirdly about everything. Truth is, we can choose to be sensitive (accept our true nature) or we can numb it. Our choice.

But mainly, there are some blessings pertaining to our gifts of sensitivity. We have to seek them and acknowledge them. And share them out with peeps we trust and love.

Some of us are scared that when we acknowledge our sensitivity, we became more sensitive. Yes, that may be true.

I noticed recently, that I can change my vulnerability level, without using any of healing tools, learnt.

When I’m anxious about the future or having fears (illusions), I became more vulnerable. Thus my immune system can also be affected. My physical health can be attacked. My mental, spiritual and emotional may deteriorate and follow suit.

But when, I face these truths, I can choose to strengthen my being or fall vulnerable to victimhood. It’s truly my choice.

Sometimes, we can end up falling endlessly… And then we became aware and wonder, why am I falling? How can I remedy this? Where is the bottom of this pit I’m falling into?

As we questioned, we became more aware. And we became more present to the moment and recognised the many options presented to us.

Yes, fear may appear too but what are we going to do about it? Feel the fear and do it anyway? Or just avoid them and forever be clueless on how to solve this issue in our lives?

Empaths are gifts to the world and peeps around us. Never a curse.

Actually everyone is an empath. How we show up and the degree of sensitivity we choose to be, depends on us and how we were nurtured growing up.

Whatever it is, awareness is key. Being sensitive is a gift we can acknowledge and have fun experimenting. And then share them with the world because, we may be the fore front of many things. The leaders.

Shine. You were born to be You. Why choose to be otherwise?

Note: I believed we each are blessed to have healing abilities and that our bodies can auto heal themselves. My role is to facilitate that.

I believed that The Creator is the Ultimate Healer because without His will and permission, nothing is possible.
