Day 80- Go all out and express your deepest…

Talents and gifts.

Day 80
What I feel like saying…
When I first visited USA, I landed in Los Angeles. I stayed in a hostel in Hollywood.
When I visited Santa Monica, I got this free ticket to America Got Talent show. Back then, my favorite TV star, David Hasselhoff was one of the judges. I’ve never planned to meet with any stars but this was one of many miracles I chanced upon.
It was unlike anything I ever expected.
When we arrived (I got my hostelmate to join me), our phones were kept. We were ushered and seated accordingly to our “beauty” (what we looked like, and dressed in).
The most beautiful and well dressed and caucasian, I noticed were seated in the front rows.
I was in the same row as the judges but placed on the sides. We were also “educated” when to clap and so on. We have a few rehearsals before the show started.
When the judges arrived, they looked so huge. As an Asian, I was only 1.63m. I was considered small and cute like a chihuahua by my american friends.
Anyway, one by one the participants went up and after every session, the judges had to be “made-up”.
I think… out of that perhaps an hour plus show, I get to watch only 3 show from about 3 participants.
Anyway, looking back at the show, online… With one of the most popular Simon Cowell as judge and many more others….
I remembered my first experienced in a live show.
Have you ever get goosebumps when you see someone perform with heart and soul? And for me, most times, I got easily teared up.
It felt as if their lives were compressed into that one beautiful song, act or whatever they did…. And they expressed it all out for themselves and us.
And if we open our hearts and souls as well, we can get connected to the hidden meanings behind it all. The love, tears, pain, laughters shared in their lives.
What about you?

Have you done anything with your heart and soul lately?
Especially when one goes thru grief, and felt numb, like me…
If movies cannot “open me” up to express and truly feel my compressed or stored away feelings, then I will watch these amazing shows whereby people performed with all that they’ve got….
And most times, I’ll be crying, feeling touched and goosebumps all over.
Truly thankful that because of their boldness and bravery, they helped me heal whatever it is that I cannot heal myself.
Love,
Lina.
P. S: Together, let’s awaken our world by being our most authentic, joyous, abundant, loving selves.
It’s OK, if you don’t belong to the crowd. Belong to yourself is enough. You are ENOUGH.
Be the unique you and shine. You matter.
We matter. The world need us in our colourful truths. Stand strong. Rise bold.
Don’t matter if there is anyone with you or supporting you or the fact that you felt unwanted or rejected.
You don’t need permission to be you. You are a life warrior. Have courage to do what feels right to you.
Stop hiding in the shadows. Stop concealing your imperfections.
It’s OK if you have unhealed wounds. Resolute to learn/unlearn, grow and heal them. We are all works-in-progress.
Your existence is important and it is powerful. There is a great purpose/s in you being alive.
Remember that.
I may not know you but if I did, I know, I will love you. Because no matter what we are, we each deserved to be loved, seen, heard and matter.
This is what I believe. This is my truth. I’m Honouring it by sharing and spreading my message.
What is your truth? Get to know, explore. Then, Express and Share it.
