I was observing my kids watching anime series n decided to learn more. At first I thought anime=cartoons=safe but as I watched this Jjk anime, I was like yikes?!?

The staunch Muslim Mom in me start questioning whether they should even be watching when there were women dressed in bikini n many more brainless conversations like – what kind of women do you like? “I like mine tall n big butts.” Then I wondered out loud, what about brains? (my kids lol me. I then became aware, I was becoming my late grandma- talking to the TV)

And I heard kids watch too. And that is not the worse of it. The worst of it all is that, though it may seem harmless, they teach sorcery, ouija board, doll voodoo n many more. Like Harry Potter movies where the incantations is said to be true ( it can cause real harm, u know?) I was double yikes?!!

I had to remind my kids about all these jjk monsters are what I called entities like jinn. There are some truth to it like a vow pact to work/spiritual contract with them, entities which some sorcerors, mediums, in reality used to engage their powers. Some even pray to them as Gods. The movie showed a love story in which, I believed the girl that died was not the spirit but actually qarin (a Jin entity that is always with us. We each have 1 Jin entity called Qarin n a few angels beside us. So whispers of good n bad is true. )

My worry is that for those parents who educate their kids through a monotheism religion like me, Islam, if the kids’ foundation is not strong, they may go to the dark side if they out of curiosity, may want to research and experiment on their own.

And for someone who has learned in my teens, the healing of entities possession thru Islamic method by Quran, I’ve seen the consequences of that curiosity – the dark side of connecting and partnering with entities. Can also pay with destruction of not just their lives but their families n loved ones as well (of course, with God’s will n permission).

Unluckily my sons have completed some seasons. I just had to reinforce their religious beliefs again n the dark side of mingling n working with unknown beings n entities.

Anyway, I’m not a paranoid parent but it’s my responsibility to equip my sons with knowledge. Especially media like TV where it’s autosuggestions n brainwashing masses.

We cannot blindly allow our kids to be educated by TV programs. We have no idea how much info they have absorperd and adopted to be their foundations beliefs.

So parents, be aware of what our kids are doing often. Don’t be so busy chasing the money that you forget to be there as your kids grow up. They grew super fast. And before you know it, regret sets in, because we became old and our kids are leaders of their gen n we r not there to be part of their blossoming. And regret because they were educated by the fears of the world thru TV, social media etc.
