Famous Islamic
18 verdun road
(near Mustafa centre/Park Royal hotel)

This is my second trip here. Previous visit was ages ago when this branch started out. I’ve tried the grilled fish, naan bread with keema, spring chicken and satay indonesian. Love the naan and keema, and spring chicken is so soft! Yummy! The rest is ok. Lately tried the paper dosai ($2.50) yummy! I like the red sauce and the buttery crispy dosai and not forgetting the curry along with it. I think their specialisation is still indian food. Another favourite is their briyani.

How bout some healthy Gelati Italia for desert?
$2.50 per scoop. Too bad mango and vanilla is out of stock and so I am left with hazelnut (nuts included), coffee (i like this best!) and chocolate.

Only setback -to me, I think the waiters should be more initiative and helpful. Because the ambience created is like a restaurant but the service given is like cofeeshop. So sorry…got to voice my opinions.. as for the food, stick to indian dishes…(adventurous ones, pls feel free to try other dishes, dont let my comments stop u there..)

INSIDE INFO!!! I was told that this coming Sunday will be the start of Ramadan Buffet (consist of South and north indian dishes) cost about $15++ per adult. Probably there will be an advertisement in the local malay newspaper this weekend. So look out!
